Regression Testing - Colorado Springs
Area |
Outstanding Test Feature |
Colorado Springs |
Mix of dense-urban and wilderness |
Barlow |
It's where our office is so we really know how it should look |
Fort Lauderdale |
Residential area with lots of snaking lakes. Two nearby sports parks. |
Liverpool |
Urban, coastal. |
London |
Dense mapping |
Manchester |
We have a lot of detailed buildings for this area |
Matola (Spain) |
Very rural area with high tree density - extreme edge case for per-mesh performance. |
Penrhyn Quarry |
Considerably hilly region. Lake at the bottom of a quarry. |
Tuvalu |
There is a lot of coast |
Everest |
Extreme elevation and empty spaces with no features |
Top of the list is Colorado Springs.
I found this image looking South on the CanAm Highway:
Colorado Springs
This is the same location in
Google Maps:
Google Maps
Create the site in Oasis Web:
S000722
There are a lot of AS30s around the site:
Coverage
Default site with just five AS30s:
AS30s x 5
AS30s out to 20km from the site:
AS30s x 800
Re-creating all the AS30s in the field of view:
255 AS30s to re-create
Why am I incapable of remembering this?
Adding guidelines to the image:
The
OSU_Wedge command populates the Site
AS30Refs
list with AS30s in the 'wedge':
Oasis@S23:~$ OSU_Wedge --siteids S000722 --direction=270.0 --angle=90.0 --distance=10.0 --doit
Finally managed to line up the image by changing our camera FOV to 82 degrees and rotating the image by one degree anti-clockwise:
Added features in OSM:
After updating the OSM I need to delete the OSM JSON and XML so it will be downloaded when I re-create the AS30:
Oasis@S23:~$ GEO2_dmsParse --fields AS30Path --dmsrefs 38_50_45_N_104_49_15_W 38_50_15_N_104_49_15_W
<6>000860 Verbose1 AS30Path = /var/www/html/Oasis/Data001/M30/38_45_00_N_104_45_00_W/38_50_45_N_104_49_15_W/38_50_45_N_104_49_15_W.json
<6>000860 Verbose1 AS30Path = /var/www/html/Oasis/Data001/M30/38_45_00_N_104_45_00_W/38_50_15_N_104_49_15_W/38_50_15_N_104_49_15_W.json
Then:
rm \
